Frequently asked questions
Are my files uploaded anywhere?
No. Conversion runs entirely in your browser; the PDF never leaves your device.
What's the quality of the JPGs?
You choose: High (~180 DPI, print-ready), Medium (~130 DPI, great for screens), or Low (~85 DPI, smallest files). Resolution scales with the original PDF page size.
Can I get a single combined image instead of one per page?
Not right now. Each page becomes a separate JPG so long documents don't become unwieldy. We may add a 'stack pages into one image' option later.
Why is the output a ZIP for multi-page PDFs?
To keep things tidy: a 20-page PDF would otherwise trigger 20 separate file downloads. One ZIP is easier to manage.
Does it work on password-protected PDFs?
Not directly. Unlock it first via Tools → Unlock PDF, then convert the unlocked copy.
