1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Zelume ("the Service"), operated at zelume.io, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

2. Description of Service

Zelume is an AI-powered resume builder that helps users create, tailor, and optimize resumes for job applications. The Service includes resume editing, AI-powered content improvement, cover letter generation, PDF tools, and related features.

3. Accounts

You must provide accurate information when creating an account. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. You must be at least 16 years of age to use the Service.

4. AI-Generated Content

The Service uses artificial intelligence (powered by AWS Bedrock) to generate and improve resume content, cover letters, and other text. You acknowledge that:

• AI-generated content may contain errors, inaccuracies, or unsuitable suggestions
• You are solely responsible for reviewing and verifying all AI-generated content before using it
• Zelume does not guarantee that AI-generated content will result in job interviews or employment
• Your content is sent to AI models for processing but is not used to train those models

5. Billing and Subscriptions

Paid subscriptions are processed through Stripe. By subscribing, you authorize recurring charges at the selected plan rate. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis; contact support within 7 days of a charge for assistance.

6. Your Content

You retain ownership of all content you create or upload to the Service (resumes, cover letters, personal information). You grant Zelume a limited license to process, store, and display your content solely to provide the Service to you.

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for fraudulent or misleading purposes
• Create resumes with intentionally false information
• Attempt to circumvent rate limits, usage quotas, or security measures
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or extract data from the Service
• Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied. Zelume does not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that AI-generated content will be accurate or suitable for any particular purpose.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Zelume shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of employment opportunities.

10. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through the Service's settings. Upon deletion, your data will be removed in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notification. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance.
