What does the Zelume Chrome extension do?

Does saving a job submit my application?
No. Saving copies the posting into your Zelume tracker so you have a record. You still apply on the company's site; Zelume just keeps the record, attaches your tailored resume version, and watches for the Apply click so it can flip the status automatically.
Do I need a Zelume account to use the extension?
Yes, you need a free Zelume account to use the extension. The extension syncs saved jobs and tailored resumes to your account so they show up on your dashboard, the application tracker, and any other device you're signed in on. Account creation takes 30 seconds and doesn't require a credit card.

Yes, the Zelume Chrome extension is free to install and use. Saving jobs, seeing already-saved badges on search results, and auto-detecting Apply clicks are free on every plan. AI resume tailoring draws from your Zelume account's daily AI credits; the free tier includes 20 generations per day.
What data does the Zelume extension collect?
Title, company, location, and the job description text from the page you click Save on. Plus the URL. Nothing from your LinkedIn feed, profiles, messages, or any non-job page. The extension requests access per board during onboarding; you can revoke any board in chrome://extensions at any time.
